Hi there! I’m Carrie, the founder and lead planner behind Events by Carrie, and I wanted to take a moment to share the why behind the business—because behind every carefully crafted timeline and color-coordinated tablescape, there’s a story.

Before launching Events by Carrie, I spent years working as an executive assistant in corporate finance. Think fast-paced schedules, last-minute changes, and lots (and lots) of logistics. I became a master of keeping calm under pressure, solving problems before they even popped up, and knowing what people needed—often before they asked.

It was in those high-stakes moments that reminded me of what I really loved: planning experiences that made people feel taken care of.

Eventually, I realized my true passion wasn’t just managing Outlook calendars and business meetings, it was celebrating life’s most meaningful moments. So I started planning events that felt personal, polished, and joyful.
